The intellectual caste of society has traditionally been sort of seen as oddballs or outcasts. Today, we're a little more recognized - geeks and nerds are coming into the mainstream and more and more people are starting to discover their inner nerd.
I'm one of those ancient nerds nearing the ripe-old age of 30, and have been witness to the rise of the nerds phenomenon. I've seen many different types of intellectual, from the business practical sort of nerd to the dreamer fanfic writers, and all sorts of inbetweens.
The goal of this blog is to bring some unity to the geek and nerd culture and apply some ancient wisdom to today's modern geeks. Most of it is off of a Cracker Jack box top, but nevermind that.
The rules of commenting here are pretty simple - always be constructive! Inside each post should hide some gems of wisdom. I want to hear what you guys think! However, if a comment serves no purpose except to flame a person or social group, it really doesn't have a place on this blog. The purpose of this blog is to promote understanding of nerd culture to both nerds and non-nerds, and probably to show just how crazy... erm, FUN we are.
